They say time heals all wounds, and new research from the University of California, Berkeley, indicates that time spent in dream sleep can help.

UC Berkeley researchers have found that during the dream phase of sleep, also known as REM sleep, our stress chemistry shuts down and the brain processes emotional experiences and takes the painful edge off difficult memories.

The Netherlands has a 'hard core' group of 300,000 people who are addicted to sex, the Telegraaf reports on Monday.
Sex addiction is now the third biggest addiction problem in the country, after alcohol and nicotine, the paper says, quoting Dick Trubendorffer of the Amsterdam private clinic GGZ CrisisCare.

Amplitude of early visual brain responses ("N170" response) to different types of pictures showing human bodies. The bars represent how much stronger the responses evoked by body pictures were in comparison to control pictures showing cars.

Researchers at the University of Tampere and the Aalto University, Finland, have shown that the perception of nude bodies is boosted at an early stage of visual processing.

Let's brainstorm on why some guys need longer to reboot (want to hear from guys with 90-120 days and struggling)

Some of you appear to be taking your time rebooting (talking about ED). We have identified that guys who start using porn early (at or before masturbation) take longer to reboot. Can we identify other commonalities? Are there activities you are doing, or not doing that affect the length of reboot? Please toss in any ideas. Some possibilities come to mind -

Pre-reboot factors:
starting early with porn;
late start with females;
access to high speed Internet earlier than others;
genetically susceptible brain;
