This study found that those with Internet addiction had different cue-induced activation patterns similar to those with drug addictions. Comments: This LA TV segment came about due to our Psychology Today post, which is linked to under the video. However, the psychiatrist, who is an addiction expert, doesn't get it at all. He attempts to cram porn-induced ED into his "sex addiction" model. The interviewers attempt to steer him to the plight of young guys without sweethearts, but he drops into pat answers.
