Hi, I finally decided to join this community after lurking on and off for the past few months. I would like to introduce myself, I'm a few months short of becoming 50, I've been divorced for quite a few years, out of which I spent about 5 years in abstinence. I only decided to start dating again about three years ago, even though I didn't pursue a relationship. I still managed to have sex again and that made me feel amazingly great.

I want to let you all know that I am excited to become a member of this community and hope to learn from others that will help me to enjoy my singlehood even more. Of course, if along the way, I'm able to give support or share experiences, I'll be more than elated.

We have quite a number of interests in common, though I am more than a decade older than you are. I look forward to your posts.

Thank you...

It's nice to read about others experience's here. I had no idea sexual addictions were so difficult to overcome. I don't particularly have addiction problems, but I've been single for too long... So, I sometimes use casual sex to compensate. Not the best for sure.
