I did some research on dopamine receptors in the brain. Apparently the desensitization process also occurs in all types of addictions including: drugs, nicotine, and caffeine. I am taking Fish Oil because the essential fatty acids are supposed to help restore natural brain chemistry. Other natural things that I hear are good for sensitization include: B vitamins, vitamin C, Zinc, Manganese, blueberries, spinach, strawberries, and cinnamon. I am not sure how much they will help with sensitization, but they are certainly not harmful at any rate. I am somewhat interested in the herbal supplement tonkgat ali. It is a tree that grows in Malaysia and Indonesia, the root of which is supposed to help naturally boost your body's testosterone levels. Testosterone, of course, effects the dopamine in your brain. I am not a hundred percent sure about it though. I do not think that it is harmful, but then again I never thought porn was harmful either. I am wondering if it might be helpful, but I am having trouble finding scientific or medical research on the subject. If anyone knows then please give me a heads up. If I find anything solid then I will post it here.
