Hi, I found your site when looking into sexual exhaustion. But not the short-term sexual exhaustion, I am talking about devastating long term exhaustion that results from ejaculating everyday, usually to porn for many years. There are many guys out there suffering with this. There are a couple of sites that use Taoists theories mixed with modern science to attempt to explain what happens. (One is Actionlove.com and the other is herballove.com)

Symptoms include, and I've had them all: weak erection, premature ejaculation, impotence, zero libido, eye floaters, groin pain inflammation, prostate problems, immunity problems, tinnitus, skin problems, hair loss, joint pain, muscle loss, light sensitivity, depression.

The theories presented are neuro-transmitter deficiencies and endocrine system problems. I don't think they know the exact reasons, but they are close. They are more interesting in selling their products than helping people.

There another forum I found,
http://recover.forumup.org/
which is a bunch of guys that all have these symptoms, and all have used internet porn extensively.

After 3.5 years, I am finally making some progress by working on Adrenal Fatigue.

In fact, I was able to have sex with my wife for the 1st time in 3.5 years. And we made sure that we did not orgasm. It was a very nice experience. However, I have a very severe case of "Blue Balls" and I am barely able to walk. And every time I touch my wife, I get another erection, which makes it worse.

I am kind of hoping for a wet dream.

What is you advice? I'm sure your husband has similar issues.

Thanks in advance.

transmutation

Hello Frank,

Welcome to this forum, and thanks for the information you provide.

I think the problem of "blue balls" has already come up in this forum.

I know I have this problem myself if I don't take care to transmute the sexual energy after having had sex with my wife.

Here is what I do after the loving session:
I withdraw and lie down on my back, my arms alongside my body. My knees are up, my feet close to my buttocks. I close my eyes and visualize the following. I visualize the sexual energy coming from my testes, up through the spine from the coccyx to the base of the cranium at the back, around my head to the front, right to the third eye. I visualize the energy coming up as described when I breathe in, and when I breathe out, the energy is going down to my heart and out in a great beam of light.

I don't know anything about your spiritual background. What I describe may seem weird to those who are not familiar with visualization techniques. The only thing I know, is that when I don't do this exercise properly, I tend to have blue balls. And I do feel the energy, mostly in my lower back, and in my third eye. Now, I know this, so I never forget to do it.

I am wondering if there is not an equivalent of blue balls for women, too ("blue ovaries"??).
The technique I describe can be used by women, too, except that the energy will obviously not come from the testes, but from the ovaries.

Blessings!

Thanks for the tip

Thanks for the tip Janitor,

For women, apparantly there is an equivalent
http://health.discovery.com/centers/sex/sexpedia/blueballs.html
"Women's genitals also become engorged with blood during sexual arousal and, like their male counterparts, women can experience pelvic heaviness and aching if they do not reach orgasm."

I figured blue balls were already covered, but I couldn't find it and the forum doesn't seem to contain a search feature (Although I could have used an advanced Google search).

My next question is:

By never ejaculating, is there any harm that can occur to seminal vessels, prostate, etc. ? (I apologize if this has already been covered in the forum)

the path to health

Thanks for the link.

Many couples have been practicing non-orgasmic sex for years without experiencing this type of problem. Much to the contrary, they experience regained health.

I think that those experiencing discomfort can avoid this by:
1) raising the sexual energy, as I explained above.
2) take things slowly. The body needs to adapt. The tendency is to do go for hot sex, when couples should keep sessions short, without much thrusting movement, if any.

This is actually related to the first question. Take things slowly, one step at a time.
While there is plenty of evidence that conventional sex is harmful (you mentioned a series of ailments above), it seems that practicing karreza is a path to good health.

About the seminal vessels, the analogy has been made with the lacrimal glands and the lacrimal ducts: they remain perfectly healthy even though one never cries.
